As an UPLAND member, you are entitled to hunt doves on the property starting September 1st in accordance with State and Federal migratory bird hunting regulations. We harvest both mourning and Eurasian collared doves each season. The natural water source and miles of shoreline shade trees make for a very attractive habitat for these fast and challenging game birds. Catch them moving back and forth along the lake shore and among the tree lines in the morning before breaking for lunch.
Chukar and pheasant hunting is available 7 days a week, and runs from 10/1 to 3/31. Since Heritage Sporting Club is a private hunting reserve and licensed by the State of Colorado, our hunting season is longer than the public season. We offer two hunt start times each day at 9AM & 1PM, with each hunt lasting up to 3 hours. You simply make a field reservation based on your schedule, let us know how many birds you wish to purchase, and we will have them planted in the field prior to your arrival.
Heritage Sporting Club can provide a field guide and professionally finished pointing dogs for those members that wish to use our services. Our guides have years’ worth of experience and will help manage your hunt in a professional and safe manner. The cost for a guide for your hunt is $150.
